Create your Happy New Year with a Renewed commitment to reach your personal and professional goals. Each year millions of people make New Years resolutions of better health, increased finances, and to grow their business. However, statistics show that those resolutions often fall to the waist side within the first two months, and that the number increases as the year progresses. By year’s end, less than twenty-five percent of the goals are achieved. Renew your commitment by making your goals a priority and maintaining the time and effort required to succeed. Instead of being among the seventy-five percent who fail to reach their goals, be among the twenty-five percent that achieve positive results. A renewed commitment not only re-energizes, it re-establishes a positive attitude, and reinforces strategies for success.
Refine what you know. In this age of technology, the old adage “if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it”, does not ring true. With the stroke of a few keys, insurmountable information about any and everything is readily at your disposal. That same information is available to your counterparts and competition. Take advantage of our technology and refine what you already know. Polish-up on your skills, learn the latest methodologies, and incorporate them in your business. Update your marketing materials and other literature to reflect your newly refined image. This is a low-cost way of presenting the refined you. Remember, just because it’s not broke, it doesn’t mean it still works.

Get involve with your local Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Administration, and volunteer your services and expertise. Visit local businesses and get involved with community events.
